Secret Fringe Alert: Is a new fringe baby on the way?

As you know, Mr. Fringey likes to put on his fringe detective specks from time to time and do a little secret agent work.

In his last round of secret agentness, he managed to dig up some good dirt.

Although it's still too soon to say, and Mr. Fringey can't give his source away, the word on the street is that there's been a little hanky panky going on in the fringe world in an area where a lot of couples like to go on their Honeymoon (hint....hint) Some even say there may be a fringe baby birth announcement coming soon from that region of the United States known as Hawaii.

Would you apply?

Fringe Baby Alert! Chicago Fringe Festival

Mr. Fringey is proud to announce the upcoming birth of a brand new baby fringe. Please help him in celebrating the occasion by telling the whole wide world. Although he talked with the parents, they didn't have access to a fringe-o-sound and so you'll notice much of the information is missing. Still, it's cause to celebrate. Wa-hoooo!

Mr. Fringey on NPR

Mr. Fringey got a lot of love from NPR's Neda Ulaby in August, the very day after his birthday. They ran a great feature on his "21 Hour Marketing" workshop which took place as part of the Capital Fringe Festival. Listen for yourself to the interview in the NPR series on How Artists Make Money by the following the link here: Listen now > http://bit.ly/NPRFringe

The Fringe Waiting List Begins

Speaking of fringe waiting lists, I was just informed last night that for the National Storytelling Network Conference Fringe happening in LA this year, I made the #3 spot on the wait-list out of 101 entrants. There are only 12 spots for this fringe, but I’m crossing my fingers anyway. So, time will tell if the mobility issues that I mentioned in my previous post are beginning to plague fringes everywhere.
